CONVENTION REPORTS
One of the greatest experiences an anime fan can ever have is attending an anime convention. You get to meet lots of people who all have similar interests to yourself, and you get to check out cool new things related to anime and manga. You can buy, sell, or trade for tons of stuff, ranging from T-shirts and wall scrolls to DVDs and CDs. Also, you can preview a variety of different animes. Sometimes you even get to meet voice actors, directors, Japanese seiyuus, etc. There are discussion panels you can become take part in, and nobody cares if you walk around dressed up as one of your favorite characters from a series (in fact, it's often encouraged).
So, in honor of all of that is the anime convention, here's a section that is devoted solely to what happened at anime conventions I was fortunate enough to attend.
